Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Stay
There is no time limit for visiting the exhibition during opening hours. We recommend that you allow about 1.5 hours for your visit. The duration depends on how long you wish to view the individual works and whether you wish to read all the available information. Once you have left the exhibition, it is not possible to re-enter.
Accessibility
The exhibition is barrier-free and a disabled toilet is also available. Wheelchair users are recommended to visit the exhibition with an accompanying person. Our exhibition welcomes all visitors, including people with hearing or visual impairments. However, we would like to point out that the exhibition experience is predominantly visual in nature and numerous information boards are used for orientation and explanation. We strive to make the content as inclusive as possible to provide an enriching experience for all guests.
Epilepsy
Warning: This exhibition may trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Photography & filming
Filming and photography is permitted here! We would be delighted if you would share your recordings with us and others - please feel free to use our social media channels.
Lost and found office
Our lost and found office is located at the information desk in the entrance area of the Titanic exhibition. If you have lost or found something, we will be happy to help you there. Alternatively, you can also contact us by e-mail at koeln@titanic-experience.com or hamburg@titanic-experience.com to contact us.
Guided tours (audio guide)
Experience the exhibition with our free audio guide! Available in German and English, it offers in-depth insights and can be used conveniently via your smartphone. Please use headphones or hold your cell phone to your ear so as not to disturb other visitors. Immerse yourself and experience the history of the Titanic!
Card payment
There are several payment options available to you: you can pay in cash, with your EC card or with major credit cards.
Baby carriage
Baby carriages are permitted in the exhibition if space permits. On busy days, baby carriages may have to be deposited in the foyer area.
Lockers
There are lockers on site which can be used for a fee of 1 euro. A checkroom is not available.
Seating in the exhibition
In order to offer you an intensive and immersive experience, our exhibition is designed as a dynamic tour. This means that seating is only available in a few areas and only occasionally.
Souvenirs
In our store you can buy a wide variety of souvenirs for Titanic fans.
Animals
It is not permitted to bring dogs or other animals into the exhibition, except by prior arrangement. This is only possible for guide or assistance dogs.
Virtual Reality
The VR is not included in the ticket price and must be booked on site.
This experience offers fascinating possibilities and can also be used by people with disabilities, for example deaf people or wheelchair users. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with visual impairments. The same applies to people with epilepsy or an increased sensitivity to light, as the VR contains stroboscopic light effects.
We recommend participation from the age of 6. Children must be held by the hand at all times.
